How to Juice for Beginners-Steak Juicing: Good or Bad for YOU!?

Today we are reviewing a juicer (specifically the COMFEE’ BPA Free Masticating Juicer Extractor with Ice Cream Maker Function) sent to us by the Comfee Corporation. If you’ve seen our channel before you may be wondering why we’re reviewing a juicer? We were communicating with the manufacturer and thought we were getting a pressure cooker, but instead we got this juicer. Now it’s not their fault. When we reviewed the email, it wasn’t that clear on the actual product we wanted. So today we’re going to take some
lemons and make lemonade…or in this case, pineapple juice.

It’s well-packaged, that’s a good sign. They care about what they’re delivering to you enough to box it properly. As you can tell from the video, you may need to come up with a technique to get the smaller box out of the larger box. Don’t worry, you’ll figure it out.

The first thing we pulled out of the box was a small brush. After further inspection, it is not for personal hygiene, but for cleaning out the juicer.

There are some important safety measures to remember before starting this thing up: do not use outdoors (which we clearing followed) and do not put your fingers in it (we don’t want any juiced fingers!).

There are several parts that come with the juicer that are easy to put together. Some of the major parts are the juice cup, the main juicing unit, cleaning brush (again, for the juicer, not personal hygiene), the pulp
collector and the juice collector. There is a button of the side of the main unit with different functions: Reverse, Stop, Juice, Ice Cream and Self Clean. Let’s be honest, directions are boring. We read a couple of them, but this juicer is pretty self-explanatory.

Now, you might wonder what is red meat lover going to juice? Well, if you think we are going to juice up a delicious prime steak…you are sadly mistaken and crazy! You must take us too seriously. What we are going to do is juice some pineapples. Why pineapples? First of all, it goes great with vodka. Secondly, pineapple has an enzyme in it that will help break down
tough economy cuts of meat and makes a great steak marinade. So, we are making a pineapple marinade for some eye of round steaks.

How to Juice

We removed the core, the top, the bottom and the exterior skin of the pineapple before throwing it in the juicer. We didn’t show you how to cut a pineapple because this isn’t pineapple lover, it’s Red Meat Lover. Also, we took the liberty of setting the juicer to hard fruit status, because we don’t really know if pineapple is a soft or hard fruit. Regardless, the juicer did an awesome job. It did a great job of getting as much juice out of that pineapple as possible. It was also very convenient to have the pulp separated from the juice. Unless you like pulp in your juice…this juicer might be too good for you.

Thank you COMFEE for sending us this juicer. We’re going to put it to work making a lot of mixed drinks and steak marinades. If you’re looking to buy one of these at home to make your own mixed cocktails, your own marinades, or even eat healthier by drinking tasty juices, you can find it here.

If you have tried this juice recipes or have a favorite juice recipe of your own that goes great with rd meat…or vodka…let us know if the comments! And don’t forget to subscribe to Red Meat Lover on Youtube for weekly videos and many recipes that turn up the tasty!
