GQue Smoked Spare Ribs Recipe | Meat America
  1. Use pork ribs which have been trimmed to remove all hard fat.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. Season with GQue rub or rub of your choice.
  4. Once you have the ribs seasoned, turn the rack on its side to remove extra seasoning.
  5. Use hickory or cherry wood. Heat your smoker to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Cook the ribs unwrapped for about 4.5 hours.
  7. Remove the ribs from the smoker and finish with a sweet glaze.
