Soak cedar planks in water for about 20 – 30 minutes before cooking. They will float so you will need to place a weight on them to fully submerge.
Pat the cod dry with paper towels.
Place cod on planks and coat with olive oil.
Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika together and coat cod.
Squeeze lemon juice over cod then place lemon slices on top.
Cook using indirect heat for 20 – 30 minutes or until cod reaches an internal temp of 145 degrees or becomes opaque and separates easily with a fork. See video for more cooking details!
