Cast Iron Skillet Steak Recipe

  1. Generously season porterhouse steak with kosher salt, black pepper and smoked paprika.
  2. Place the steak on a piping hot skillet (we recommend this one) that has been lightly coated with avocado oil.
  3. After a few minutes, flip.
  4. Add a pad of butter and a fresh rosemary sprig into the pan
  5. Cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit (medium rare).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
